Making pictures

You can make pictures in two places: the chat site (pick an Images assistant) or Discord (Kuzumi's /imagine).

Which style should I pick?

Style Good at Time
Illustration (default) Painterly fantasy and semi-realistic art ~10–15 s
Anime Anime art and named anime characters ~15–20 s
Photo Realistic photos ~20–30 s
Qwen ("Detailed / text") Busy, detailed scenes, signs, posters and words in the picture, transparent stickers ~40 s

How do I make a picture on the chat site?

  1. Start a new chat and pick Images · Illustration, Images · Anime, Images · Photo or Images · Qwen from the model menu.
  2. Describe what you want in plain words, e.g. "a cozy cabin in a snowy forest at night, warm light in the windows".
  3. Wait for the picture. You can only make one picture at a time.

How do I make a picture in Discord?

Type /imagine, write what you want in the prompt box, and optionally choose a style (Illustration, Anime, Photo, Qwen). There's a 30-second wait between pictures per person.

Tips for better pictures

  • Say the subject first, then details, the setting, and the lighting or mood: "red fox, curled up asleep, autumn leaves, soft morning light".
  • For anime, mention the character and series by name.
  • For text in the picture (a sign, a poster, a title), use Qwen and put the exact words in quotes: a shop sign that says "OPEN 24 HOURS".
  • Try the same request again for a different take.
  • To change a picture you already have, see Editing pictures.

What isn't allowed?

Pictures stay safe-for-work, and anything involving children or young-looking characters in a sexual or suggestive way is refused. In Discord, channels marked age-restricted allow a bit more, except the Qwen style, which is always safe-for-work.

It's taking forever / it failed

Pictures normally finish within a minute. If it fails, try once more; if it keeps failing, tell Arb.
